The Excitement about Colonel Kinney.

During yesterday great excitement prevailed in the City in regard to the attempt to frustrate Colonel KINNEY in his expedition. Early in the morning U. S. Marshal WYNKOOP, of the Eastern District, Pennsylvania, visited the Colonel's apartments at the Metropolitan Hotel, in company with Deputy U. S. Marshal DE ANGELIS, but were informed he had left in the 6 o'clock A. M. train for the City of Philadelphia. Hence the Government officer was rid of the unpleasant duty of effecting the arrest, and expressed himself highly pleased to learn that Col. KINNEY had anticipated him, and voluntarily proceeded to Philadelphia to answer before Judge KANE.
In the afternoon Marshal WYNKOOP received a telegraphic dispatch from his officials at home confirming the statement of Col. KINNEY having appeared in Court to meet any accusation made against him.
