    In the Criminal court, Judge MacArthur, yesterday the arguments in the case of R. J. Marshall, charged with keeping a bawdy house at the Central hotel, Eighth and D streets, were concluded, and after a brief charge by the court a verdict of guilty was found.

    An old lady drove up to the White House yesterday afternoon and announcing herself as "Queen Lucinda, from Louisville," asked to be put in possession of the mansion. She brought several trunks with her and seemed much disappointed when she was taken away by a policeman.

    William H. Wylie was charged in the Police court yesterday morning with keeping a slaughter-house in the city within 150 yards of a residence other than his own--on North Capitol street, between N and O streets. A number of residents of the neighborhood testified to the existence of the slaughter-house and the killing of cattle there, and a fine of $10 was imposed.

    David E. McElhinney yesterday entered a bill in equity against John A. Wynkoop, praying for a dissolution of the partnership business of the firm of McElhinney & Wynkoop. The partnership was entered into January 1, 1884, and complaint is made that Wynkoop has used from the profits sums of money exceeding his proportion, for his own purposes, and failed to account for the same. Justice Cox issued a temporary restraining order.
