LARGE CATCH ON POTOMAC.
________

W. Wynkoop Lands Nine Rock Fish in
Two Days Below Chain Bridge.

One of the finest catches out of the Potomac this season was that made by W. Wynkoop of this city, when he landed three rock fish yesterday and six the day before. These fish averaged three pounds, and were caught from the rocks on the Maryland shore, just a below Chain Bridge.
They have been running for the past two weeks, but the muddy condition of the water has been making the catches small.
