    Charlestown, W. Va., May 25.--At the exercises of the graded and high school here the C. W. Brown medal for greatest improvement in penmanship was presented by State's Attorney George D. Moore to Miss Isabel H. Moore. The gold medal given by the Lawson Botts Chapter of the Daughters of the Confederacy was presented to Arthur E. Woody, also a prize to Miss Sidney Wynkoop.
