    AMATEUR ENTERTAINMENT.--There is to be an entertainment for the Benefit of the Poor at the Apollo to-night. Several fine actors have volunteered on this occasion, and no doubt will acquit themselves in an interesting and satisfactory manner. Although advanced in the season, there is doubtless persons about town in need of all material aid this charitable association can raise for judicious distribution among them. Parties who are able to work or labor for a sustenance here or in the mines, and whose families are destitute, will receive with gratefullness all the assistance thus accruing through the generosity of the public and through the commendable efforts of the Denver Amateur Association. We hope there may be a large and profitable audience convened to-night.
