    Mrs. Eunice Landis, 44, of 1055 Barnaby terrace se., was fatally injured yesterday when she was thrown from a car in a colision [sic] at 1st and D sts. se.
    Mrs. Landis died in Providence hospital at 8:40 p. m. less than nine hours after the accident.
    Mrs. Landis was a passenger in a car driven by her sister, Mrs. Esther L. Johnson, 42, of Columbus, Ohio.
    Police said both Mrs. Johnson and Thomas K. Wynkoop, Jr., 25, of 5435 Connecticut ave; nw., driver of a car going east on D st., were charged with colliding.
    Mrs. Landis was taken to Providence Hospital suffering from possible fractures of the skull and spine, and multiple abrasions.
