Detective Mattingly yesterday arrested Hamilton Y. Grey as a confidence operator. Grey claimed to be a representative of the Corean embassy and engaged a young man named Urban G. Wynkoop to go to Corea. He obtained fifteen dollars from Wynkoop, and the latter heard no more from him until he complained to the police, and the swindler was arrested. He has quite a record as a confidence man. He has a negro wife, whom he first met at the Garfield Hospital, where she was employed as a nurse.
