Edna 'Betty' Matthews OldakerBorn May 13, 1918, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Charles and Edna Martin Wynkoop, she was a retired employee from Crucible Steel Colt Industries, Midland. She was a Protestant by faith, and a member of the Deer Trail Card Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, William P. Oldaker, in 1974, and a brother, Martin C. Wynkoop, in 1985. Surviving are two sons, Martin H. Matthews, Brighton Township, and David C. Matthews, Chippewa Township; three stepsons, Joseph Oldaker, Beaver Falls; William Oldaker, Scranton, Pa., and David Oldaker, Rochester; a step-daughter, Susan Oldaker Mecklem, Bristol, Ohio, and two grandsons, Scott Matthews, Chippewa, and Mark Matthews, Brighton Township. Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the WILLIAM MURPHY FUNERAL HOME INC., 349 Adams Street, Rochester, where a service will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. Entombment will follow in Sylvania Hills Mausoleum, Daugherty Township.
