FORT MEIGS CEMETERY PHOTO,                                                                                          Topozone Map to Cemetery
Perrysburg, Wood County, Ohio, by Gary L. Franks, Nov. 12, 2004
Description:
Tall Monument for JOSIAH MILLER and ELIZABETH [ELDER] MILLER                       More about MILLER
is about 10 feet north of the broken one for SAMUEL AND ALEXANDER  ELDER.

JOSIAH MILLER  [1801-1865]
ELIZABETH [ELDER] MILLER  [d. Dec. 30, 1884]
It appears to indicate that Josiah died Nov 7(?), 1865 Aged 61Y 7M 10(?)D.
Above the inscription is a Masonic Lodge symbol.
The info for Elizabeth is on the right (south) side of the monument and is illegible
except for the name (Elizabeth Miller) which can barely be made out.

SAMUEL ELDER , died Feb 25, 1862, aged 28y 10m 22d [born 3 APR 1833]
ALEXANDER ELDER, died Sep. 2, 1836, aged 28y 10m 25d  [born 8 OCT 1807]
The broken stone is simply the lower part of the monument for Samuel and Alexander...
its break line matches that of the upper part.
Stones for Samuel and Alexander are, in fact,
a single stone cut to resemble two stones. In the picture you can see where
some adhesive (light brown color) remains on the top part of the broken stone.
