"Mr. Andrew Jackson Williams, 84, prominent resident of Thomasville for 35 years where he owned and operated a general store and mill for nearly 15 years died Tues. afternoon at 3 o'clock at his home following a heart attack. Mr. Williams who retired in 1933, was the son of Green Salina Williams. He was born March 14, 1864 at Garfield, Mo., and was married to Eda Jobe 53 years ago. They were the parents of 8 children, 5 boys and 3 girls. His wife and 3 sons preceded him in death. He is survived by 1 sister, Mrs. Billy Snider of Fremont, Mo; 3 daughters: Mrs. Stanley Garman of Mtn. Grove; Mrs. Wade Nichols of Miamisburg, Ohio; and Mrs. Fred Willard of West Plains; 2 sons, David and Kib Williams of Thomasville. Funeral services will be held Fri. afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Baptist Church at Thomasville. Rev. Gordon Napier will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodside cemetery there"
