RALPH EDWARD8 CREAGER was the son of Perry Edward7 CREAGER and Montella HARVEY. He was born 5 December 1910 at Constantine, St. Joseph County, Michigan. He resided in Constantine until he was inducted into the Army on 7 July 1942. He was sent overseas in September of 1943. Here he was a member of the 33rd Division of the Armored Regiment. At time of death on 11 August 1944 he was serving as an assistant tank driver which was attacked in the vicinity of Abbaye Blanche, France. Military service and burial occurred at the Rock Island National Cemetery in Rock Island, Illinois. Following his death, the family received posthumusly his Purple Heart award.
