News is very scarce in our community, however we will try and find a few items for our breezy little paper.
At present, we are having rather disagreeable weather, quite a lot of rain and a few flurries of snow, which keeps the roads in poor condition for travelling.
Miss Esther McAllister, has gone to New Glasgow, where she intends to spend the winter months.
Miss Eva Lawlor, has returned to Concord, N.H.
Mrs. J. A. McAllister was visiting her mother in North Ogden, quite recently.
Miss Florence McDonald has taken her departure to Pictou.
Mr. John McPherson and Mr. J. R. Lawlor were repairing the telephone line recently.
Mr. John A. McAllister is laying the foundation for a new barn.
Messrs. Jas. McAllister and J.R. Lawlor, were visiting friends in Rogerton.
In the last Breeze we read a poem about "The Champion Schooner Bluenose". We congratulate Gladys Myers on the splendid piece she composed.
Miss Sadie Murphy was confined to the house with La Grippe. We are glad to see she is able to get out again.
Miss Lizzie Kennedy and her brother, Arthur of Tompkinsville passed through here Sunday last.
M rs. Henry Borden is engaged at Mrs. John McAllisters.
Miss Katherine McAllister was visiting her sister, Mrs. Patrick Shea of Tompkinsville.
Sorry to report Mr. Henry Lawlor has been quite miserable with a cold.

ISAAC'S HARBOUR AND GOLDBORO, N.S.

Nov. 24 -- Messrs. John C. Cooke, Harris Mason, and Chester Langley, arrived home Wednesday in Mr. M. W. Cook's car.
Mr. Walter Hartfield was a visitor at the school house Friday.
Mrs. Ira Fenton, and Reta Cooke, spent Sunday evening with Mrs. Maria Clyburne.
The school is progressing very nicely under the excellent management of, Miss Olive Leslie. We hope to have her with us another year.
We are sorry to report that Mr. Bruce Cooke's horse was injured by an accident and had to be shot.
Miss Marguerite Sullivan, Reta Cooke, and Ida Clyburne, walked to S.R. Giffins Saturday.
Mr. Emmett Cooke, shipped with Capt. O'Hara. We shall miss him very much.
A very enjoyable afternoon was spent at the home of Mrs. Angus Langille. A party was held in honor of her daughter, Dorothy's, 13th Birthday. Supper was served and all the guests enjoyed themselves. Mr. Langille arrived home Thursday. We are glad to have him back again.
Messrs. E. Anderson, and Charles Silver, left for Timmins Friday, Nov. 18. Their many friends will miss them.
Sorry to report Miss Norma Baker, and Ena Giffin, on the sick list. Their friends hope for a speedy recovery.
An extra large cat owl was shot by Edison Cooke on Monday.
The C.G.I.T. girls Club, was organized Nov. 1st with two groups -- The Junior officers are as follows: Reta Cooke, president; Bessie Giffin, Vice-President; Marguerite Sullivan, Sect., Ida MacClyburne, Treasurer, The Seniors are: Mildred McMillan, Pres., Ina Smith, Vice-President; Ena Giffin, Treasurer, and Freda Smith, Sect. They expect to make their meetings a success.

....Richard left for Boston, Sunday, Nov. 5th, where they will spend the winter. On Wednesday Nov. 8th, Rev. Fr. Robitille gave a very interesting lecture on agriculture to the farmers of Charlo's Cove.
The farmers have resolved to raise strawberries this coming spring.
Mr. N. Fogarty and two of his children, Les. and Myrtle, and J. Ranson of Canso were visiting in Charlos Cove Nov. 13th.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Peart of Guysborough were visiting Mr. and Mrs. P. Richard Sunday, Nov. 19th.
Mr. Fred Lavandier has gone to Halifax with Capt. J. Pelerine, on business.
The schr "Ovilla", Capt. G.D. Pitts has arrived from P.E.I. with a cargo of Potatoes and will shortly sail for Halifax with a cargo of salt fish and fox berries.
The schr "Nina Clair", Capt. S.W. Richard, has returned from Port Hastings with a load of coal.

SUNNY BRAE
------

Just a few notes from our little community.
The weather is getting very disagreeable for the men in the woods. The snow has made it very dirty and we hope it will soon freeze up it would be much nicer.
Mr. William Hattie has quite a few men employed this winter some are from Guysboro.
We are sorry to report, Tompkins Shea, has been laid up with a sprained ankle for the past week. Hope he will soon be around again.
Mr. John D. Hattie went home last night to see his family. Hope he will be back in the morning. He is our woods Boss.
Mr. John Hattie's two daughters were in the camp yesterday on a visit. We hope they will come to see us again.
Christmas is coming soon suppose some of the boys will be going home for a few days.
There was a concert in the Hall at SunnyBrae and a very pleasant evening was spent.
The moose season is over now quite a few were got up here this fall.

The weather has been very disagreeable the last few days, but we hope it will soon clear up and be fine again.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cunningham were the guests of Mrs. Guy O'Connor.
Our school here is supplied by Miss Kelly as teacher. She is giving good satisfaction, this being her fifth year.
Mr. William Cleary was the guest of Robert Cunningham Thursday last.
Mr. and Mrs. Long and her daughter, Mary, were the guests of Mrs. Robert Cunningham.
Master William Cunningham was in town recently.
Mr. Frank Gerrior got a moose the other day.

Miss Grace McDonald, who was visiting friends in C.B., has returned home.
Mr. and Mrs. Duncan Chisholm, who were visiting Miss Lizzie Forrestall, post mistress, have returned home to Antigonish.
Miss Matilda DeCoste, who was visiting her sister, Mrs. Joseph McDonald has returned to Mulgrave.
We are all glad to see the mail man around again he had been sick with the cold.

Nov. 28--The fishing season is over and the boats have all been hauled up and secured for the winter.
Born, at Coddles Har., Nov. 19, to Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Sponagle, a son. (Hearty congratulations).
Miss Pearl Sponagle, accompanied by Miss Clara Mcdonald, of Guysboro, left Sunday Nov. 19, per S.S. Chebucto for the city.
Mr. John S. Manthorne, of Seal Hbr., paid a flying trip to Coddles Monday.
The Misses Gladys and Mary Manthorne, and Mrs. Edward Sangster, of Upper New Harbour, were visiting friends at Coddles recently.
Mr. Emery Strople, who has been employed by Neville Canneries Ltd., for the past season has returned to his home at Drum Head.

NORTH OGDEN

We are having very stormy weather this last week and quite a lot of snow down now if it stays on it will be a long hard winter.
Mr. William McCallum was visiting at Mr. J.J. Jones recently
Mr. Collin McDonald and Charles Graham were visitng at Mr. B.J. Jones Monday evening.
Mrs. Thomas Cahill, Mrs. Esther Green and daughter and Mrs. Daniel McDonald were visitors at Miss B.J. McCallum's Sunday.
Joseph Abraham was around with Dry Goods and Groceries lately.
Mr. Collin F. Lawlor from Ogden made a flying trip to North Ogden Friday.
Mrs. Jason North was visiting a Mrs. J. Jones one day this week.
Mr. Austin Johnston has made a trip to Port Shoreham with a load of beef.
Beef is very plentiful this fall and selling at five and six cents per lb.
Our school is progressing under the careful management of Miss Kathleen Fannon.
Mr. and Mrs. John J. Jones were visiting at Mr. Thomas Cahill's thursday evening.

MILFORD HAVEN BRIDGE, GUYS. CO.

Nov. 21st-- Frank Connolly, Guy O'Connor, Robert Cunningham and son John, of Havendale and William Cleary of North Roverside are all engaged loading a big four masted schooner with lumber at Guysboro. We don't see one like her everyday.
Card playing seems to be the order of the night.
A dance was held at the home of Geo. Nickerson, some time ago, altho it was a stormy evening quite a few were present and all report a good time.
Mrs. John Long and daughter were visiting friends at M.H. Bridge recently.
Mrs. J.P. Shea was visiting Mrs. William Imlay recently.
Mrs. Patrick Farrell gave a card party on turkeys one night last week.
It wont be long until Santa Claus will be calling around again.

Miss Minnie Dort passed through here recently with her Ford, enroute to West Roachvale.
Mrs. P. Dowling Askilton, C.B., spent a week visiting her daughter, Mrs. V.C. Horton.
John Baachus of Sherbrooke, was visiting friends here recently.
Messrs. Everett George and Harold Snyder of Half Way Cove were in this vicinity one day recently.
Vernon Horton spent two days in Askilton, C.B., visiting at Mr. P. Dowlings.
Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Delaney of New Hampshire, U.S.A. are visiting at Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Porter's.
Wilfrid Dort of Dort's Cove spent the week end in Roachvale.
James Toney of Tompkinsville was visiting friends here last week.
Mr. James Cook intends leaving shortly for Sunny Brae, where he will spend the winter months.

MILFORD HAVEN BRIDGE

Nov. 27.--It has been looking a little winterish for a few days. The children seem to enjoy the snow and coasting.
Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Fraser were visiting their daughter Mrs. Farrell Sunday last.
Mr. David O'Connor, Guysboro, was visiting Guy O'Connor, and friends recently.
Mrs. Patrick Connolly was visiting Mrs. William Phalen on Friday evening Nov. 24, glad to see her able to get out. As we haven't very many old folks left on River Side now.
Mr. John Dillon and family are soon to leave this place his mother intends going to Tracadie for the winter months, his sister Mary, to Halifax, and John intends going to U.S.A. we all wish him good luck and that he may not stay to long away.
