Edward S Ross                                 January 7, 1863 - March 23, 1934                (Henry Ross + Ann R Andrews)
    Minnie Jane Rising                   March 12, 1865 - March 12, 1891                            (Rufus Rising + Mary Clancy)
    Eliza P Bartlett                             December 17, 1872 - April 26, 1949                         (Horace Bartlett + Laura J Wright)

Minnie received a bible from her father, Rufus Rising, as Christmas present in 1889 where the family's births, marriages, and deaths are recorded.          

Minnie is buried in the Hague Cemetery in Hague, Warren Co., NY, while Edward and Eliza are buried in the Valley View Cemetery in Ticonderoga, Essex Co., NY.

Edward and Minnie were married April 18, 1883.

Edward "Eddie" and Minnie had 3 children:

Helen Eloise Ross                September 10, 1884 - January 4, 1929 
    Mckenzie Lewis                   August 22, 1886 - January 30, 1978        (William Lewis + Sophia J Davis)

Helen And Mckenzie were married in Orwell, Addison Co., VT on December 22, 1913. They had 2 children.
 

Lawrence Henry Ross       May 6, 1889 - August 1, 1918

Private Lawrence Ross, Company C, 120th Machine Gun Battalion, was the first person from Essex County, NY to fall in battle in World War [I].  He was killed in France at the Second Battle of the Marne. He was buried in the Valley View Cemetery.

Minnie Jane Ross                     March 12, 1891 - February 10, 1964
    Leslie D Hayes                        February 20, 1887 - October 29, 1966     (Orlin S Hayes + Estelle L Ackerman)

       Minnie and Leslie were married October 25, 1911in Hague, Warren Co., NY. They had 6 children.

 

Eddie and Minnie with Helen and Lawrence (circa 1890):       

Edward and Eliza were married April 21, 1892. They moved to Abells Corners,VT after the death Rufus Rising in 1912.

Edward and Eliza had 1 child:

Harold Norman Ross               August 26, 1897 - January 26, 1961
    Eva Helen Fowler                      July 26, 1899 - October 23, 1988

Harold and Eva were married August 8, 1918 in Abells Corners near Orwell, Addison Co., VT.
