Land Records
Land Records

Land records are a valuable source of information. They help to bring life to our ancestors. Were they farmers? City slickers? Business owners? Who did they buy from? Who did they sell to? Where exactly did they live? All the questions can be answered by land records. Transaction dates can help to narrow down the time an ancestor arrived in an area and the time they moved on. Many land records also list the names of both husband and wife.

My research will give you all this information and a copy of the actual document if you wish.
