Biographical Links These links to biographies offer narratives, rich with color and detail, of the lives of some of our ancestors. They are courtesy of the Miami County Ohio Genealogical Researchers (sponsored by the Computerized Heritage Association) and the Lancaster County (Pennsylvania) Genealogy Project Biography Board. Permission was obtained from all sources to include these links. I hope you enjoy them.
Marmaduke Coate - Wagner & Wells, 1999) Duncan Website (This is an information-packed website on the Duncan's by Mary Ann (nee Duncan) Dobson, the GenealogyBug. She has also graciously allowed me to use this link to her very worthy website.)
* Isaac Alexander's bio states Mary was the daughter of Amos Hall. I believe this contention is inaccurate and the result of transcription errors on the part of the author. The 1865 James Hall Will names daughter Mary Alexander.
Henry Alexander, Mary Alexander, and James Hall all signed the bond for Amos Alexander's estate. Both these documents support James Hall as the father of the Mary Hall married to Henry Alexander (Isaac H. Alexander's parents). Other inaccuracies in this bio include Amos Hall's birth state (NC rather than SC) and Medina County as opposed to Miami County.
