New information about my Flynn family

Thomas Flynn senior, Derrydrumuck died 6-10-1918 age 82 years with senile decay, registered in Loughbrickland.

(My great-great-grandfather)

Margaret Flynn, Brague daughter of Thomas Flynn, Labourer married William Bell, Dooghary.  His father John Bell was a labourer, Witnesses Joseph McNeaghter and Margaret Bell on 24-9-1875 in Seapatrick Church of Ireland.

Susan Flynn (sister of Margaret above) married William McCallister, Scotland, foreman in Iron Works on15-12-1881 His father was William McCallister. Witnesses John McCallister and Martha J. McCallister in Aghaderg Church of Ireland.
(Witnesses above are my great-grandparents)

Matilda Flynn married Matthew Hanlon, Brague.  She was from Derrydrumuck. His father was John Hanlon and her father was Thomas Flynn.  Witnesses James White and Mary McCallister (who may have been my Great Aunt Mary) in Loughbrickland Presbyterian Church on 8-5-1899.

Thomas Flinn Junior married Jane Beck.  His father was Thomas Flinn of Brague and was a labourer.  They married on 13-5-1864 in Loughbrickland Presbyterian Church. (My great-grandmother's brother)

John McCallister married Martha Flinn.  Her father was Thomas Flinn (Martha J. would be sister of Thomas)  She was a Seamstress and married on 20-3-1867 in Aghaderg Church of Ireland. She would have been an Aunt to Jane Junior making her a full cousin to my Grandmother which I think proves it all now.

(This couple above are my great-grandparents)

My Father's side of the Family

Moore Jean Anna
(Myself) Born 12th July 1938 Banbridge Co Down Married Leo McCarthy 27th May 1969. Still alive and kicking. One Daughter from previous marriage. Miriam Linda Kent.

Moore William Jr.
(My Father) Born Belfast 7th September 1903. Married Sarah Jane Hawthorne 11th November 1926 Died Banbridge 31st July 1971 Aged 67. My Dad's mother died when he was seven years old. His father tried to continue to raise him on his own until he became too ill and too old to do so. My Dad was placed in a Methodist orphanage and school for boys on 22nd November 1913. He never saw his father again. He was unable to trace him later in life when he grew up. I promised my Dad that when I grew up I would find out what happened. This is what started me on this long, long road of tracing my ancestors. The search has taken me to the southern hemisphere when I learned that prior to her marriage and the birth of my father, his mother had emigrated to New Zealand with her mother and brothers and sisters. I know she was in New Zealand in 1894 & 1896 when she showed up in the Women's voters electorate. She evidently returned to Ireland some time between 1896 and 1903 when my Dad was born in Belfast. I am currently searching the 1901 census for Ireland in the hope of finding her and my grandfather to fill in a few more gaps.

Family story is that Mary Hawthorne above (my maternal great-grandmother) went to America and/or Canada on two occasions. Each time she took her two china dog ornaments with her. The dogs are still in the family. This is one record of her traveling abroad with her youngest daughter Margaret Elizabeth (Lizzie) to visit her son Robert. Another daughter (Sarah) emigrated to Canada I am still trying to trace her travel records.
