Reverend INGRAM J EVANS SR was born July 1841 in Kentucky, and died 07
March 1915 in Claiborne County, Tennessee. He married MARTHA/PATSY MADON 21
August 1861 in Knox County, Kentucky. She was born about 1843 in Kentucky, and died
03 March 1916 in Claiborne County, Tennessee. He is the son of WILLIAM H EVANS
& MARGARET BULL. Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, located on a ridge 7
miles from Powell Valley, Tennessee was the home church for the Evans clan who migrated from
Kentucky to Tennessee in 1890. (notes & info of Deanna Barton)
