1. Charles Evert1 AHOLA (#23) was born in/near Turku, Finland, 1 June 1880. Conflicting evidence states that Charles was born in 1881 or 1882. Charles immigrated to the US, 1906. Charles died 1 July 1924. He was buried in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Peabody, MA.

He married Anna E. SAINIO about 1907. (Anna E. SAINIO is #24.) Anna was born in/near Turku, Finland, 1883 or 1884. Anna immigrated to the US, 1906. Anna died 15 Jul 1929. She was buried in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Peabody, MA.

At the time of the 1910 US Census, Charles and Anna resided in Peabody, MA, on Englewood Street, and were renting their home. Charles's occupation: carpenter, morocco factory.

At the time of the 1920 US Census, they resided in Peabody, MA, at 36 Ellsworth Road, and owned their home. Charles's occupation: millwright, leather factory.

Charles Evert AHOLA and Anna E. SAINIO had the following family:

child 2 i. Martha Maria2 AHOLA (#18) was born in Peabody, MA, 30 April 1911. Martha died 9 August 1985 in Beverly, MA. She was buried August 1985 in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Peabody, MA. She married Arthur Napoleon LEBLANC Sr. in Salem, Essex County, Massachusetts, 1 February 1930. (Arthur Napoleon LEBLANC Sr. is #17.)

Martha's occupation: licenced practical nurse.

child 3 ii. Karlo Michiel AHOLA (#26) was born 20 November 1914. He is listed as Charles in the 1920 US Census.

child 4 iii. John Everett AHOLA (#27) was born 20 April 1919.

child 5 iv. Reino Joseph AHOLA (#28) was born 9 February, year unknown. He does not appear in the 1920 US Census. Reino moved to Australia, married there, and is believed to have had at least one daughter.
