Jack Howard 9,. Gregory Howard 10) X. GREGORY HOWARD STILSON, son of Jack Howard Stilson and Frieda Epperly Stilson was born June 8, 1947 in Oakland California. His family moved to Aurora, Oregon, Hubbard, Oregon and then to Beaverton, a suburb of Portland, Oregon in 1949. Greg attended Sunset High School and Portland State University .At Portland State he was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity .He served in the army and was stationed in Vietnam for a year in 1965. He returned to complete his studies at Portland State University. On June 8, 1975 in Portland, Oregon he married Christine (Christie) Carol Kammerer, only child of George Robert Louis Kammerer and Grace Carol (Zeller) Kammerer. Greg continued on to study at Western States Chiropractic College from which he graduated in 1977. He set up his practice in Southwest Portland, Garden Home Chiropractic. Christie was born in Portland, Oregon on October 1, 1952. At the age of4 years her family moved to Lincoln City, Oregon where her parents managed the popular Dorchester Hotel. After a year and a half they moved to Lake Oswego, Oregon and then settled in S. W. Portland in an area known as Vermont Hills. Christie attended Hayhurst Grade School and then Wilson High School. She met Greg while attending Portland State University where she graduated with a bachelors in Elementary Education in 1974 and a Masters in Elementary Education in 1978. She was a member in the Alpha Chi Omega sorority .She worked as an elementary school teacher for Portland Public Schools at Boise School in North Portland until the birth of their daughter in 1981. As a recreational-business they formed the company, Paradise Publications and currently have four travel guides for the Hawaiian Islands and newsletters about Hawaii. Children: 1. Maren Christine, b. June 18, 1981. Maren is petite and quiet. She enjoys reading and gymnastics. 2. Jeffrey Scott, b. November 29, 1985. Jeff is delighted to have discovered a "cousin"named Jeff Stilson.
