According to the 1870 census, James Crowder was 9 months old, born Sept 1869 in Texas. His mother died before the 1880 census was enumerated and his siblings lived with family members throughout the state. Maud Biard Smith wrote that James "Died as a young man". I was unable to find our James in 1880 census.

No further information on our James Crowder.
