The Skonieczny family has its origins in Poland. John Skonieczny arrived on the shores of America in 1895. He was born on 24 Sep 1887 and married a woman named Frances but whose surname we do not know. They had six children. The 1930 United States Federal Census records show that their eldest, Chester, was born in Delaware; Edmund Stanley and William, in Poland, and Frank, Genieveve, and Alexander were born in Pennsylvania.

Edmund Stanley Skonieczny was born on 08 Sep 1907 and married Matilda Babinski. They had three daughters.  The eldest, Marlene Constance (02 Aug 1939 - 26 Jun 2000), was the mother of Todd Auvil.

Knowledge of this branch of our family is very limited and our research has uncovered very little.
