Fourth Generation

222	M	Ulrich SCHRAG ^{^{(Casper^3, Nicolass II^2, Nicolas¹)}}was born about 1710 perhaps in Ernstweilerhof, Switzerland. Ulrich married Anna or Elizabeth MEYER about 1735 in Switzerland.
		Ulrich lived at Ernstweilerhof near Weibrucken, I think, Switzerland. He moved to Volhynia, Russia. 1796. The Schrag family that migrated to Galizia (Kleinpolen), lived near Gr\|nstadt in a little village mamed Albsheim an der Eis. Whether or not Ulrich Schrag was a forefather of Johannes Schrag from Albsheim has not been fully determined. Ernstweilerhof is not in Switzerland, but near the city of Zweibr\|cken in Germany. The closest that I could come was Ernetschwil, Sankt Gallen, Switzerland. It is located a couple of kilometers east of Uznach and about twice that distance from the eastern tip of the Obersee.

2222	M	Johannes SCHRAG ^{^{(Ulrich^4,Casper^3, Nicolass II^2, Nicolas¹)}}was born about 1740 in Falkenstein, Galacia, Palatinate. Johannes married Elizabeth ALBRECHT about 1760 perhaps in Albsheim, Poland. He moved to Volhynia, Russia in 1796. He was at Albisheim and the Palatinate. Johannes came with the first 6 families from Germany to Falkenstein, Galacia in 1784. He was a citizen of Hornbach in 1776. Johannes died in Russia. .

22221	F	Elizabeth ALBRECHT was the daughter of Michel ALBRECHT. Elizabeth was born about 1740. She died in Russia.
		Elizabeth was of Hermersbergerhof. She and her husband Johannes b came from Albishein to Falkensetin in Galicia in the 1780's. There was a CHRISTAIN ALBRECHT, who died in 1794, with his wife Barbara who came to Einsiedel in 1786. When CHRISTAIN died Barbara married ANDREAS SCHRAG, son of JOHANNES. There was a Johann ALBRECHT in Eduardsdorf in 1809 There was an ALBRECHT in Michelsdorf in 1837.

Sixth Generation

22222	M	Andreas SCHRAG ^{^{(Johannes^6,Ulrich^5,Ulrich^4,Casper^3, Nicolass II^2, Nicolas¹)}}Andreas was born about 1774. He died 1834. He married Barbara ALBRECHT OR STUCKI, Widow, about 1794 in Einsiedel, E. Galacia.

Schrag, Andreas, 42, 73...pg 42) In the summer of 1873, twelve delegates came to America to inspect land for colonization. The deputation consisted of: Jacob Buller and Leonard Suderman, Molotschna delegates; Wilhelm Ewert, Prussian delegate; Andreas Schrag (layman), Swiss delegate; Tobias Unruh, Polish delegate; Jacob Peters (Oberschult), Cornelius Toevs and David Klassen, Kleine Gemeinde delegates; and Paul and Lohrenz Tschetter, Hutterite delegates..... ...Schrag and Suderman, accompanied by Schantz left for Pennsylvania.... pg 73) Mennonite Migrations to Dakota.... ....On May 27, 1874, Andreas Schrag, the Swiss deputy of the year before, arrived with ten families from Volhynia, Poland, and started a Swiss settlement. Soon a second group came and in July a third group led by Christain Schrag, Christian Kaufman, and Peter Kaufman

He was the 1st preacher of the Amish in Volhynia. Joseph married Freni STUCKY, daughter of Hans STUCKY and Anna WANGER 1 January 1803/1804 in Poland. Joseph died 19 August 1859 in Waldheim, Russia.

222231	F	Freni STUCKY, daughter of Hans STUCKY and Anna WANGER 1 January 1803/1804 in Poland. Freni was born about 1783 in probably Palatinate. She died 19 August 1859.

222241	F	Marie VON HUBIN, daughter of Johann VON HUWEN Juneior and Marie MUELLER Marie was born 20 October 1787 in Einsiedel, E Galicia, Austria. She died 4 December 1839 near Dubno, Volhynia, Russia. She was was raised with her sister Anna by their uncle Heinrich MUELLER and Anna EYMANN. Marie's sister: Anna Von Hubin was born 5 December 1788 in Einsiedel, Galicia, Austria, She died 11 April 1843. she wed Johann Albrecht Easter 1810 Marie's brother: Jacob Hubin was born 5 January 1793 Einsiedel ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Johannes Von HUWEN, Senior was born 1739 Falkenberg, Rheinfalz, Germany. He married 1762 to Barbara Hirzler Johannes died 1799. Barbara was born 1745/1749 in Falkenberg, Rheinfalz She died 1785. Their children: Johann von Huwen, jr, was born 7 May - 5 July, 1766. Johann wed Marie Mueller 5 August 1785 He died 10 August 1794 Ensiedel, East Galicia, Austria Magdalena HUBIN was born 10 December 1764 Hardenburg bei Neustadt. She died Weinstrasse, Paltinate Johann von Huwen, jr and Marie Mueller died in East Georgia before many of the Mennonites left for Russia. They left 3 orphaned children before Marie's brother Heinrich left for Russia: 1) Marie born 20 October 1787, 2) Anna, born 5 December, 1788, 3) Jacob, born 5 January 1793 See the MUELLER page for more information

She died before 1874 in Volhynia, Russia. 1990 census on one of her sons say she was born in France. This is in doubt. Most books say no Millers went through France - unknown about Schrags. She died before 1874. Kathrina married Johann MUELLER, son of Heinrich MUELLER Minister and Hannah EYMANN.

John died 21 February 1898 perhaps in Freeman, South Dakota.

Johann emigrated in 1874 on the City of Chester, he as Number 126, age 60 and a laborer. He was with his daughter Marie, number 127, age 17, spinster. Homesteaded in Childstown township sec 27 se quarter. Johann married Katherina GRABER 11 April 1832
