The following census data was contributed by Cathy Gowdy:

James and Worlenda Fellows are also listed on the 1840 & 1850 Michigan Censuses. Their children listed in 1850 were:

Nathan born ~1830
Milton  born ~1832
Dorcas b. ~1834
Henry born ~ 1836
Abial born ~1839
Louisa born ~1842
James M. and wife Worlender J. (Harrison) Fellows were living in Goodhue County, Minnesota in 1860, post office, Florence.  Worlender's return show her birth in about 1812 in Ohio. Their son, Abiel, is living with them. Their son Milton J. Fellows had married and lived near Lake City with his wife Susan and their children Henry, born in Wisconsin in about 1855, and James F., born in Minnesota about 1859 (see also the 1880 Federal Census of Green Lake County, Wisconsin, Worlender also lived with her sister Martha Harrison Bishop).

James M. Fellows also descended from a prominent pioneer family; his father was Colonel Abiel Fellows. Mark D. Fellows has compiled a very interesting history of the Fellows family with great insight in the way of  "A Scrap of History of Early Decatur Michigan and Vicinity 1929-1976", by Catherine Howland.  Heading a letter from Mrs. Richard J. Hayck (Sarah Fellows) 1910.

The children of Worlender Harrison and James M. Fellows were:

13.8.1 Nathan Fellows, was born in about 1830.

13.8.2 Milton J. Fellows, was born in about 1832 in Michigan.  Milton married Susan (unknown, however, the 1880 census data below listed Milton's mother-in-law's surname as "Buck").  The Minnesota Death Certificate Index lists his Milton's death as 13 February 1912 in Hennepin County, Minnesota.  In the 1880 Federal Census of Winnebago City Village, Faribault County, Minnesota, ED# 63, page 134A, Milton and Susan's household listed:

#127  182    Fellows, Milton J.     m     48                           Grocer                  Michigan
Susan A.     f      45    Wife                 Keeping house      Ohio

Pierce, Ursula   f      66    Boarder                                        New York

Milton and Susan were listed in the 1900 and 1910 Federal Censuses of Hennepin, City of Minneapolis, (ED# 21, sheet 12B in 1900 and ED#...... in 1910).  Milton listed his date of birth as May 1832 and Susan listed her birth as May 1836 in 1900.  Susan stated that she had given birth to 3 children, 2 of whom were still living in 1900.  They both stated that they had been married for 45 years, Milton listed his occupation as a candy merchant.

In 1910, Susan stated that she had given birth to 2 living children, they were both well into their seventies, Milton was 78 and Susan was 74.  They had been married for 55 years, I could only make out the word "confectionery" in the occupation column for Milton.

A lookup volunteer in Minnesota sent the following information from Milton's death record:

"Milton J. Fellows, 4126 Lyndale Ave. N.  was a white male, married.  He was born May 19, 1832 (79 years, 8 months and 24 days) in Prairie Ronde, Mich to James Fellows, Michigan, and Worlinder Harrison, Ohio.  The informant was Susan A. Fellows.  He died of senility."
Their children were:
13.8.2.1 Henry Fellows, was born in about 1855.  From the 1880 Federal Census of Verona, Faribault County, Minnesota, ED# 64, page 143B:
#20  20    Fellows, Henry    m             24    keeping restaurant    Wis.
Nellie     f    wife    19    keeping house          Wis.
I have not yet located Henry in the 1900 census.

13.8.2.2 Frank J. Fellows, or James F. (as his name is recorded in the 1860 Census) was born in about 1859 in Minnesota.  He was married and recorded in the 5th Ward of Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon, ED# 58, sheet 2A in the 1900 Federal Census (Frank incorrectly stated that his mother was born in Maine--he would later get it right in 1910; Frank and Alice both stated that they had been married for 17 years; Alice stated that she had given birth to 1 living child):

In the 1910 Federal Census of the 4th Ward of Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon, ED# unreadable and the sheet number may be 3B (Frank and Alice both stated that they had been married for 25 years; Alice stated that she had given birth to 1 living child):

I did not locate them in 1920, their known son was:

13.8.2.2.1 Duane A. Fellows, was born in September 1885 in Wisconsin.  Duane did marry and was working as a dentist in 1920 and 1930.  He and his wife, Minnie were ages 44 and 43 respectively in 1930, they had no children and lived in Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon.
13.8.2.3 Maude M. Fellows, born in about 1876.

13.8.3 Dorcas Fellows, was born in about 1834.

13.8.4 Henry W. Fellows, was born in January 1836 in Michigan (biography) and died in 1924.  Henry married Ruth "Jane" Williams in 1859.  Ruth was born in 1836 and died in 1920.  They are both buried in Harrison Cemetery.  In the 1870 Federal Census of Kalamazoo County, Texas Township, their household consisted of:

#199 201    Fellows, Henry W.    34    m    Farmer            5000    800    Michigan
                             Jane           33     f    Keeping house                          "
                             Frederick       4    m   at home                                   "
                       Reed, George     13    m   at home                                   "
Henry and "Ruth J.", were again enumerated in Texas Township, ED# 143, sheet 347D, household 190 of 200 in the 1880 Federal Census on 16 June.  Their household consisted of: Henry, age 44, occupation listed as a "Farmer", birthplace Michigan, he listed his father's place of birth as "Penn" and his mother's place of birth incorrectly as "Maryland".  Ruth J., age 43, wife, occupation listed as "Keeping house", birthplace listed as Michigan, father's birthplace listed as "Mass, and her mother's birthplace listed as "N.Y.".  Their were two children living in the household: a son, Frederick, age 14 and a daughter, Edith A., age 7.  Frederick had attended school in the last year.  There was also a "boarder", listed, a Nancy Adams, age 48, occupation listed as a servant, birthplace "Mass.".

In 1900 Henry and Ruth were living in Oshtemo Township, Kalamazoo County, Michigan, ED# 125, sheet 8A.  The census is pretty faint, I read Henry's date of birth as January 1836 and Ruth's age as 63, her month and year of birth were unreadable.  Ruth stated that she had given birth to 4 children, two of whom were still living; they both stated that they had been married for 42 years.  Also listed in the 1900 household were Ruth's sister and her mother, both of their first names were also unreadable.

Henry and Ruth Jane (Williams) Fellows had four children:

13.8.4.1 Walter F. Fellows, born in about 1859 (age 1 year in the 1860 Federal Census of Prairie Ronde Township) and died in April 1864.  He is buried in Harrison Cemetery.

13.8.4.2 Fanny F. Fellows, born after 1860 and died in May 1864.  She is buried in Harrison Cemetery.

13.8.4.3 Frederick Arthur Fellows, born in June 1866 in Michigan and died on 23 June 1941 in Wyoming.  In the 1900 Federal Census, Fred was married and living in Ward 3 of the City of Battle Creek, Calhoun County, Michigan, ED# 33, sheet 4A (Fred and Nellie both stated that they had been married for 12 years (in about 1888); Nellie also stated that she had given birth to 3 living children):

By 1910 they were living in Denver City, Denver County, Colorado, ED# 167, sheet 6A.  Both Frederick and Cornelia stated that they had been married for 22 years, Cornelia also stated that she had given birth to 3 living children.  Fred was still struggling with the birth place of his father and the enumerator listed his father's place of birth as "Minnesota?".  Fred listed his age as 43, and his occupation as a electrician in a power plant.  Cornelia listed her age as 41, children listed were: Claire H., a son, age 17; H. Duane, age 14; and Frances W., age 10.

Both of their sons registered for the draft in Laramie, Wyoming:

In 1930 Fred and Cornelia were again recorded in 2nd Ward Laramie, Albany County, Wyoming, ED# 6, sheet 22A.  Fred's age was crossed out and I read it as 67, he finally nailed his father's place of birth and listed it correctly as Michigan.  Fred was the last entry on that sheet and Cornelia was recorded on sheet 22B.  She listed her age as 61.
