This section contains the assorted tools and items that can both assist in your personal research and help the One Name Study grow.

This resource has a dual purpose. Firstly, it is a place to list your genealogical interests. Second, it is a place for others to check to see if anyone is researching the same line or individuals.

The query system for the One Name Study utilizes the assorted message boards hosted by Rootsweb and Genealogy.com (GenForum). There are many, and it is necessary to review each board, regardless of the spelling represented.

Messages posted to the MAKEMIE or MCKAMEY Message Boards are automatically gatewayed to the corresponding e-mail list. This means that messages posted on these boards are also posted to the e-mail lists.

Changes and additions to the One Name Study are posted to the McKamey E-mail list hosted by Rootsweb. For the most current information and updates, this e=mail list is essential.

However, there are several other lists that might be of interest to researchers, and they are listed is this section.
