MORAN, IMOGENE, LOY, age 69, of Manchester, TN passed away

October 23, 2008 at her residence. She was born August 5, 1939

in Coffee County, the daughter of the late Golden Galligan and

Dola Bowen Galligan. She was employed in earlier years with

AEDC and Sverdrup. She was a member of the Forest Mill Church

of Christ and enjoyed seamstress work. Survivors include three

sons, Pat and wife, Rhonda Moran of McMinnville; Steven G. and

wife, Karen Moran of Tullahoma; and Russ and wife, Laura Moran

of Manchester; fie grandchildren, Molly Moran and Evan Moran of

McMinnville; Will Moran and Anna Moran of Tullahoma; and Carley

Moran of Manchester; sister Virginia Ogden of Virginia Beach,

VA. Funeral services ere held Sunday, October 26 from Coffee

County Funeral Chapel with Brother Darrell Denman officiating.

Burial was at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers,

the Moran Family at Mrs. Moran’s request, suggests memorial

contributions be made to Forest Mill Church of Christ

Children’s Ministry.

Arrangements were made by Coffee County Funeral Chapel, Manchester, TN.

a lot of miles have gone into this collection of records in

other family members that may have an interest in knowing where

their roots originate from. May the ones here that are gone

never be forgotten, because a person dies three death the

first, which we all must face, is when we leave our mortal

bodies to go to a better place, the second is when all trace of

what we did while upon this earth has perished, be it good or

bad and the third and final death is when we are gone from the

hearts of all those left behind and our name is never uttered again.

Welcome to the third millennium. Many people awoke January 1,

2001 and thought to themselves, "Well here's another new year."

But this January 1st, happens to be much different. There will not be another one like it for 1,000 years.

Just the day before, on December 31st, I was up to watch the

last sunrise of the second millennium. It was for me a very

sacred moment. Why am I sharing this with you? Only to make us

realize how short life is on this earth. Just as our heart

beats in rythym, this ole earth has been spinning and tilting

in rythym long before we were b., and will continue long after

we have passed on.

Our lives are like the morning mist that suddenly appears,

only to vanish in the rising sun. What mark will we leave as a

sign for others to follow? Will it be an inheritance worth

receiving, or one that is scorned?

Personally, I can think of no greater inheritance than the

gift of health and healing. As we enter into the third

millennium, let usdo so with purpose and love for the

sacredness of life.
