Sites will be reviewed and scored using following system
Self Impression: *Our own personal feeling about the page. How well is your site presented and laid out? Does your site give an introduction that invites visitors to explore your site further? Does it have something informative, is it innovative or entertaining? This is a big plus as a site should hold our attention*
Creativity/Idea: *The site must have a clear point of purpose, this can be anything you choose. However pages that display only banners or pictures will not be considered. Sites that show a detailed grasp of their subject will increase their rating*
Navigation: *Your site should be easy to get around in from page to page, a site map is a good idea. If you have Java navigation you should provide an alternate navigation system for those who dont have Java enabled. Visitors to your site should never have to hit the back button to reach the main areas of your site*
Design/Content: *A good, consistent design with good use of color is a key factor as well as links and images working within your site We will also be looking for an effective use of tables, java scripts, java applets, dhtml, html etc. But, it must be used in a way to be helpful to the web community or to compliment the site*
Award Presentation: *There should be a place on your site to present the awards your site has won. Do you display the awards you have won with pride? The date the award was given should be listed. If you also include comments from the Award Program this will improve your rating. If your site has not yet won any awards you should still have an area to display future awards and include a notation that no awards have been won yet*

Spelling & Grammar -5 points
*If your site contains more than 1 spelling error per page*
Page Load -5 points
*If your site takes longer than 90 seconds to load on a 56k modem*
Alt tags -3 points
*If you do not have alt tags on images*
Use of Back Button -5 points
*Visitors should never have to use their back button to navigate through your site*
External links -5 points
*If your external links do not open in a new window*
Internal links -5 points
*If your internal links load in a new window*
