Freedman Family
My wife's Grandfather was Samuel Freedman (on her mother's side). His parents were Jacob Freedman and Beckie (Minnie?) Steiner. My understanding, he was born in New York City, New York. He had two brothers, Sholam, Puge, and one sister, Rose. He married Fannie Greenberg, March 17, 1910, in Manhattan, New York City, New York. Samuel and Fannie had two children, a daughter, Evelyn, and a son, Roy Robert.
- Evelyn married Walter Engel, January 03, 1943 in New York. Evelyn and Walter had three children, Dave, Barbara Anne, and Brenda Rae.
- Roy Robert married Janice Ruth Curry, May 07, 1965, at the First Unitarian Church, New York. Roy and Janice had two children, Judd Robert and Andrew Martin.
