22.  Johannes OTTERBACH (5269); born 1680 and christened the 4th Sunday after Advent; married Gertrud Schneider (5270) April 24, 1704.[1]

 

     Gertrud SCHNEIDER (5270)[2] was born circa 1680 in of Trupbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany.[3]

     Children of Johannes Otterbach (5269) and Gertrud Schneider (5270) were as follows:

         38.        i.    Maria Klara (5271); born January 21, 1705; died February 27, 1705.[4]

         39.        ii.    Agnes Kathrin (5272); born June 22, 1706; died July 4, 1706.[5]

         40.      iii.    Johannes (5273); born February 13, 1708; married Margarethe Strack (5274) August 19, 1733; married Anna Gertrud Zimmermann (5275) after 1738.[6]

         41.       iv.    Elsbeth (5276); born January 24, 1711.[7]

         42.       v.    Johann Henrich (5277);[8] born January 16, 1714; died 1799 in Culpeper Co., VA.[9]

     He immigrated on September 23, 1734 to Philadelphia, PA, accompanying his uncle, Johann Henrich Otterbach, and his aunt Maria Clara Nohe and her family.  He latter settled in Culpeper Co., VA.[10]

 

 

24.  Hermann OTTERBACH (5279); born 1686 and christened Quasimodo Sunday; married Anna Kathrina Heite (5280) February 23, 1711.[11]

 

     Anna Kathrina HEITE (5280)[12] was born circa 1690.[13]

     Children of Hermann Otterbach (5279) and Anna Kathrina Heite (5280) were as follows:

         43.        i.    Johannes (5281); born July 29, 1711; died June 13, 1712.[14]

         44.        ii.    Else Katherina (5282); born December 24, 1712.[15]

 

 

25.  Johann Jacob OTTERBACH (5283); born 1688 and christened the 24th Sunday after Trinity; married Else Cathrin Heite (5284) July 20, 1712.[16]

 

     Else Cathrin HEITE (5284)[17] was born circa 1690 (of Seelbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany).[18]

     Children of Johann Jacob Otterbach (5283) and Else Cathrin Heite (5284) were:

         45.        i.    Maria Klara (5285); born December 31, 1713.[19]

 

 

29.  Anna Margarethe OTTERBACH (4949); born 1686 in Trupbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany and christened the 9th Sunday after Trinity (August 1, 1686 in St. Nicholas Reformed Church, Siegen, Prussia[20]);[21] married Hans Jacob Holtzklau (4948), son of Hans Henrich Holtzklau (4957) and Gertrud Solbach (4958), August 7, 1708 in Siegen, Nassau-Siegen, Germany; died between 1724 and 1729 in Germantown, Fauquier Co., VA.[22]

    

     Hans Jacob HOLTZKLAU (4948) was born in 1683 in Trupbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany and christened in Siegen Laetare Sunday.[23] He was the schoolmaster between 1708 and 1713 in Oberfischbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany.[24] He immigrated in April, 1714 from Nassau-Siegen, Germany to VA.  He was one of the original 42 colonists in Germanna, VA.[25] He married Catherine ? (5068) circa 1731.[26] He died in January, 1760 in Germantown, Fauquier Co., VA.[27],[28]

     Children of Anna Margarethe Otterbach (4949) and Hans Jacob Holtzklau (4948) were as follows:

         46.        i.    Johann (4932), born 1709 in Oberfischbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany; married Katherine Thomas Russell (4933).

         47.        ii.    Elizabeth (4951); born before 1711 in Oberfischbach, Germany;[29] married Harman Miller (5062) circa 1735.[30]

         48.      iii.    Johann "Henry" or "John Henry" Henrich (4950); born November 14, 1711 in Oberfischbach, Siegen, Germany;[31] died 1778 in Prince William Co., VA.[32]

     He was christened on November 22, 1711 in Oberfischbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany.[33] He immigrated in April, 1714 from Nassau-Siegen, Germany to VA.[34]

         49.       iv.    Katherine (4952); born circa 1720 in Germantown, Fauquier Co., VA; died 1810 in Fauquier Co., VA.[35]

         50.       v.    Ann Elizabeth (4956); born circa 1720 in Little Fork, Orange Co., VA; died circa 1755 in VA.[36]

         51.       vi.    Elizabeth (4954); born circa 1727 in Germantown, Fauquier Co., VA; died 1793 in Halifax Co., VA.[37]

         52.     vii.    Harman (4953); born circa 1727 in Germantown, Fauquier Co., VA; died 1762 in Fauquier Co., VA.[38]

         53.     viii.    Alice Katherine (4955); born circa 1730 in Germantown, Fauquier Co., VA.[39]

 

 

34.  Elisabeth Cathrina OTTERBACH (5035);[40] died in VA; born April 19, 1697 in Trupbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany and christened in St. Nicholas Reform Church in Siegen, Germany;[41] married John Kemper (5034) circa 1715.[42]

 

     John KEMPER (5034) was born on July 8, 1692 in Musen, Germany. He died between 1740 and 1784 in Virginia.[43]

     Children of Elisabeth Cathrina Otterbach (5035) and John Kemper (5034) were:

+       54.        i.    John Peter (5036), born December 25, 1717 in Germanna, VA; married Elizabeth Fishback (5037).
