John C. Morris - I am looking for any info on William A Morris of AL,
b1844, d1893. He migrated to Itawamba County MS, towns of Saltillo
and later Plantersville. Served in CSA 10th & 12th Cav, 1863 to 1865,
disharged at end of war. Later worked for M&O Railroad. Married
Emily Jane Cooper, Sept 18, 1866. Had 6 children: George W, Marty J,
Cora B, John L, Julia J, & Lula I. Need parents names, place of birth,

Phil Corcoran - I am trying to locate information on my biological grandfather.
His name was
Frank Davis MORRIS. He was born in the state of Iowa,
county unknown, approx 1895. In 1920 his residence was listed as Portland,
OR, and his occupation was truck driver. He and Alice Adams had a baby
girl, born in Los Angeles, CA in 1920. That baby girl was my mother. Any
information that anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Matthew J. Weismantel - John M. Morris -- I am trying to find information
about my gg grandfather John M. Morris. I have recently discovered
through New York US Soundex census information (1880) that he
was born in 1849 in St. Johns, New Brunswick, Canada. He married
Sarah SIVERTSON (Born on 9 Mar 1855 in Brooklyn Heights, Died
ca 1924) and had the following children Harry Norton (1876-1938)
Frank (1878-?) and Ada (>1880-?). He eventually moved from Connecticut
and was a expert maker of Printing Presses for R. Hoe and Co. in Stanford,
Conn. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Phyllis - I am looking for a Nancy Morris b. 1789. N.J., d. 27 May 1869,
Madison Co. Ohio. Married 6 Jan 1803, Madison Co. Ohio to Joseph Jackson
b. 1779, N.J., d. 1861, N.J. They had 10 children. Also looking for a Mary
Morris, 1780-1870 who married a Henry Hughes 1784-1864. I believe Mary
and Henry were both from Wales as my gggrandfather William, one of their
sons, was born in Wales. Was wondering is you had any connections on
either of these Morris girls as I know nothing about them. Thank you.

Ernest Carpenter - I'm searching for Charles Henry Morris' family
b. 1866 in Hopkinsville, KY d. Feb.14, 1919 buried in Riverside
Cemetery in Hopkinsville. He married Lola Frances Wells
June 11, 1896 in Hopkinsville. I know there is a family plot in that
cemetery. I am looking for his parents and siblings (and their stats
and stories). Gma told me her father, Charles, was a saloon keeper.

THOMAS MURRAY - Searching for information on Joseph Morris born
12-8-1771 died 12-20-1882. A native of Maryland his father was
John Morris. Joseph Morris married to Lavina Drake on 1-10-1796.
She was a native of NJ. They had 14 children children. Jospeh was
an ordained Baptiat Minister. Joseph came to Clark Co. Ohio or
Champaign Co. Ohio from Bracken Co. Kentucky in 1811.
Teresa - I am looking for info on the MORRIS family in Pittsylvania,
Virginia in the early 1800s. In particular I am looking for a connection
between Doctor Franklin MORRIS born about 1813 in Bedford County
VA to the MORRIS of Pittsylvania. Doctor MORRIS (Doctor is given
name) may have brothers named Stephen and James. His mother may
have been named Nancy. His family may have had some connection to
the MARTIN family (a William Martin born about 1830 lived with his
family for a while). If this is familiar please email me.
Liz Dabbs - I have been searching for information on my gr-gr-grandfather,
Wash(Washburn) Morris for over 3 years. I can't find any other
records on him than what I currently have. A marriage record from
the LDS library for Washburn Morris and Mahala Culp married
7 June 1855 in Holt County, Mo. My great grandmother's
(Mary Ellen Duggins) death certificate states that she was born in Mo., no
county given, and that her parents were Wash Morris and Mahala
Culp, both from Mo. That's all I have. I have been able to find some info.
on the Culp line but nothing on my Morris'. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
Alan Hines - I'm looking for information about MATHEW MORRIS b. abt 1810 TN who married MARTHA ___ b. abt 1812 TN. In the Dickson Co. TN 1850 census
Mathew is listed as constable. Some time between 1850-1860 he
moved with his family to Humphreys Co. Mathew and Martha's
children were : James D., Simeon, Rufus, and Caroline (who married
Willis C. Willey). Mathew died bet. 1870-1880.
I'd appreciate hearing from anyone connected with this line -- and
also anyone researching Dickson Co. and Humphrey Co. Morrises.

Billy V. Morris - Are their any Morris' around Neosho, Pierce
City or Joplin of African American origin doing any research?
Family may have originated or migrated from Tennessee or Kentucy.
Also, may be decendents of Robert Lee Morris or a relative of his.
