Charles and Juliette were married at the Parochial Church, Ticonderoga, New York on January 30, 1853 by "Priest Ollivet" (as indicated on the Declaration For Widow's Pension on file at the National Archives).
Charles was discharged from service in the Civil War at Winchester, VA on June 15, 1865. The Request for Records from the Adjutant General on file at the National Archives indicates he was disabled during Kilpatnick's "Second Raid about March 2, 1864." Charles filed a Declaration For Original Invalid Pension on August 13, 1886 while the family was living in Mayfield, Fulton Co., NY.
